Sun Mountain Speed Cart

Why would you ever lug a 35+ pound bag for 18 holes when for around the price of a bag you can effortlessly push your game around on a 2007 or 2008 Sun Mountain speed cart?  I personally like to walk since, pathetically, it’s the only “exercise” I ever get anymore.  I try to convince myself that walking a golf course is actually a workout.  I have a friend that is a Sun Mountain representative and he convinced me to try their push carts.  Man, am I glad I put my ego aside and gave one a try.  Like so many golfers, I have endured low back pain and it has ruined many a good round.

After using the speed cart one time, I have never looked back.

In seconds this cart unfolds into a golf limousine on wheels.  No more extra weight and stress on my back, knees & shoulders.  I feel like I have more energy on the back 9 and in turn, I’am playing better deeper into my rounds.

The funny thing is that when I brought this to the course for the very first time I got some ribbing from the fellas.  After I shot 66-68 the first weekend with my cart, every other player in my Friday group showed up with their own push carts. One guy had the nerve to get Sun Mountains battery assisted push carts.  He’s officially over 50 so we didn’t give him too much of a hard time! After a few months I was actually jealous of his superior cart and have been pondering the idea of getting one myself.  They are expensive at around $800 but what the hell,  I’ve got a 50th coming up myself pretty soon.  Anyway our local club has now lost 4 cart fees every week because we are all addicted to walking & pushing.  No more playing “cart paths only” golf ( Man I hate that.)  No more slave to the $20 cart fees every time you play.  Get a Speed Cart and enjoy the game more.  You’ll enjoy walking the fairways with your good friends and maybe even loose a few pounds in the process.  Check out the photos and the list of features this Sun Mountain Speed Cart is packed with!
I’ve actually had contests with my Friday group on who has the cart that will go farther unattended. Some day, I’ll tell you about the time someone had a speed cart that went for a swim! This speed cart is sweet.
