Best Golf Books
If your looking for the best golf books, look no further. From how to improve your game to history of golf to inspirational stories, you’ll find the perfect book. I recently read “Fearless Golf: Conquering the Mental Game” by Dr. Gio Valiante. What a read!
Okay, I am the first to admit that when I have a blow up hole and I’m forced to take the dreaded snowman, I spend the next two trying to mentally recover. (I also claim that double par is the most a high handicapper like me can get, though I’ve never really consulted someone who knows., until then, I’ll stick with my snowmen. That’s all I need is to start logging 10′s…but I digress.)
My buddy, Mike (“Buttsack” as we like to call him) once tossed a perfectly good Cleveland wedge into a pond on a beautiful Palm Springs golf course. Me thinks he could have used some golf book inspiration on that day. Maybe then he wouldn’t have had to shell out $180 for a comprable wedge in the proshop. Have a look around at our fantastic golf book selection – you’ll find the inspiration or information you need.
There are a few considerations when you’re making a choice on a new golf book.
Instruction Books – these are how-to guides. The thing is, if you’re looking for golf instruction, you should be looking at golf eBooks. There are several systems out there that include videos, forum membership and all kinds of teaching online. Even the best golf book can’t match video lessons.
Non-Fiction – there are plenty of great golf books that tell stories of some of the golf greats. Keep your eye out for various biographies and autobiographies.
The mental aspect of golf – these books are fine to get in hard copy too, since discussions about how to control stress, the “yipps” and all kinds of golf psychology is easy to do in a book format.
