Adidas Tour 360 4.0

I’ve got a thing for comfortable golf shoes since I walk 99% of the time. The newest Adidas golf shoe the Adidas Tour 360 4.0  is something to really talk about. Being an avid Foot Joy wearer for most of my life I was given a tip from one of the games most prestigious sport psychologists during a local tournament some 10 years ago.  He touted his Adidas shoes as the most comfortable shoes he had ever worn.  I rushed to the local golf shop to purchase a pair and have worn nothing but Adidas ever since.

You’ve gotta understand something about the golf accessories I choose: I’m serious about them.  In my garage I have what my wife calls the “hat shrine” where I’ve got something like 30 gold hats – all in pristine condition hanging nicely from pegboard.  Before heading out to the golf course each day, I choose my cover.

Same thing with the golf shoes.  I first got into the Adidas with the Tour 360 II.   I then moved into the Adidas Tour 360 3.0 and now I’m in the 4.0.  Obsessed?  You bet.  But I’m unapologetic.

Hack on the other hand, could care less.  He’s walking around in some Walter Hagen specials from Dicks.  Back in March (2011) we were at the range hitting balls and Hack had forgotten his golf shoes.  So he was standing there on the tee in his Asics running shoes.  Guess what?  He was hitting the ball better than normal – I’m convinced it was his shoes.

When your feet are comfortable and fit well, you have more stability, more feel and keep your balance much better.  It’s the feel that makes the biggest impact – even for high handicappers.  That’s the big reason the Adidas 360 series works so well – they fit and feel like running shoes, or at least very comfortable sports shoes.

Since I purchased the Adidas Tour 360 4.0 I can tell you without hesitation that they are, without a doubt, the best shoes I’ve ever  owned.  These shoes combine the benefits of fantastic comfort and incredible  stability.  Most shoes I have found to be very stable have been stiff in the  sole and difficult to wear and walk in for 4 or 5 hours.  These new Tour 360′s  are stylish, comfortable, and really help stabilize your feet during the swing.    Best of all you can pick them up these days for less than $150.00!  They go on sale at Austad’s for around $120. Do your feet  a favor and give em a try, you won’t be disappointed.
